Recommended Attire and Gear
We recommend that you wear comfortable, athletic clothing. When training with tourniquets in courses including bleeding control training (i.e. First Aid, Stop Life Threatening Bleeding, Wilderness First Aid, AVERT), be aware that the velcro on tourniquets can ruin fabric that it touches.
We recommend that you bring clothing and gear you may bring with you outdoors, such as a day pack, hiking poles, a sleeping pad and sleeping bag. We also recommend a camp chair as much of our WFA training takes place outdoors. You may bring a first aid kit to be evaluated and get any recommendations.
